020/20P Minutes of Previous Meeting
The minutes from the Planning Committee Meeting dated 12 September 2019 were received. It was
unanimously RESOLVED that the minutes of the council meeting be accepted as an accurate
record and were duly signed by the Chairman.

Proposal: T1 Oak – Initial canopy reduction removing around 4m of growth to reduce risk of limb
failure
Location: Street Record, Marrelsmoor Avenue, Waterlooville, Hampshire
Comments: The Committee were aware that work had been carried out on this tree some 6 weeks
previously and there was no record of any application for permission for work on a
protected tree. This fact would be referred to WCC for consideration.
The Parish Council of Newlands, by a unanimous decision, raised an OBJECTION
to this proposal. The applicant has stated concerns over the health of tree 191335 but
no evidence in the form an arboricultural report has been included with the
application, contrary to NPPF paragraph 065. The Parish Council would however,
accept the recommendation of the WCC Arborist.
The meeting closed at 7.15 pm. The next meeting will be held on 16 January 2020
