Cllr Parry declared a personal interest in this item as he was a neighbor of the property.
Enforcement: An email reply had been received from WCC Planning Enforcement regarding the
installation of a garage door on the front of their under croft parking area. WCC did not class this as
development. It had been reported that the enclosed parking area was now being used as a bedroom. The
Committee considered that the reply from WCC was relevant to installation of a garage door but should
not apply to any change of use. It was AGREED that the Clerk would report the change of use to
WCC and also write to Havant Borough Council to ask if they would interpret planning policy in
the same consistent manner as WCC.
