MEMBERS: Cllrs Mike Read (Chair), Andy Kirby, Lewes Price and Jason Parry.
1 Apologies: To receive any apologies for absence.
2 Declarations of Interest: Arising from this Agenda, Members and Officers are invited to declare any
relevant interests. Notwithstanding this item, Members may subsequently declare an interest at any point
during the meeting.
3 Minutes: To receive and agree the notes of the Amenities Committee Meeting held on 17th March 2022.
To consider and determine action.
4 Public Participation: The meeting will recess for not more than 15 minutes so as to allow any members
of the public to address the meeting.
5 Correspondence: To receive any items of correspondence. To determine any action.
6 Warden’s Report: To receive a verbal report from the Amenities Parish Warden. To determine any action.
7 Adoption of Open Space: To receive any update. To determine and agree action.
8 Amenities Storage/Office Facility: The Parish Council requires a storage space and an additional office
for staff. To receive any update. To consider and determine action.
9 Warden Equipment: To consider what tools are required for use by the Parish Warden to enable him to carry
out duties to open space land. To consider and determine action.
10 Youth Shelter installation: To receive any update. To determine any action.
11 Dogs on Leads signage: The Parish Warden has requested the Council purchase “Keep dogs on Leads
signs” to display in areas throughout the development. To consider and agree any action.
12 Parish Flagpole: To agree a list of flag flying dates, previously circulated. To consider and determine
action.
13 Audio visual equipment for Community Hall: To receive any update. To take consider a budget of
£1000 on this equipment to agree at the next meeting of Full Council. To consider and determine
action.
14 Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations: To receive any updates. To consider and determine action.

15 Items for discussion at Full Council: It has previously been identified that Newlands Parish Council
may wish to set up a working party relating to the Parish Office design in the new Community centre.
To consider membership and anything else relating to the working party. To consider and determine
action.
16 Any other report which the Chairman deems urgent or for inclusion on the next agenda – NO DECISIONS
can be made.
