MEMBERS: Cllrs Mike Read (Chair), Andy Kirby, Lewes Price and Jason Parry.
1 Apologies: To receive any apologies for absence.
2 Declarations of Interest: Arising from this Agenda, Members and Officers are invited to declare any relevant interests.
Notwithstanding this item, Members may subsequently declare an interest at any point during the meeting.
3 Minutes: To receive and agree the Minutes of the Amenities Committee Meeting held on 8 July 2021.
4 Public Participation: The meeting will recess for not more than 15 minutes so as to allow any members of the public
to address the meeting.
5 Adoption of Open Space: To receive an update. The list of items (previously circulated) has answers to queries
raised and provides an update into outstanding matters as far as Winchester City Council are concerned. To consider
and determine action.
6 Health and Safety: The current requirement for risk assessments requires re-consideration. To consider and
determine any action.
7 Christmas Event: The Council intend to submit an application for a Councillor grant for the sum of £1000 in order to
pay for community Christmas events. If the Council is awarded the grant, to consider what type of event(s) to provide
and determine requirements. To discuss and determine action.
8 Requirement for Solicitor: To receive an email response from HALC (previously circulated) The Clerk made
contact with HALC with regards to providing some contacts for the legal work required relating to the adoption of
open space. To consider and determine action.
9 Parish Warden Equipment: To consider what items the Parish Warden requires in order to carry out work. To
consider and determine action.
Any other report which the Chairman deems urgent or for inclusion on the next agenda – NO DECISIONS can be
made.
