MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD REMOTELY ON THURSDAY 22
APRIL 2021 VIA A SCHEDULED ZOOM TELECONFERENCE COMMENCING AT 7.00 pm

Cllr A Carden was acting Chair at the meeting. Also present Cllr M Read as an observer and Karen
Seear, Clerk to the Council.

There were no Declarations of Interest made at this time.
003/22P Minutes of Previous Meeting
The minutes from the Planning Committee Meeting dated 15 October 2020 were received. It was
RESOLVED by a majority that the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting be accepted
as an accurate record and will be duly signed by the Chairman at a later date.

Comment: It was noted that there was a delay in receiving this information, as the application was
originally sent to Denmead Parish Council. The documents and plan were discussed by
Councillors. The application appears to be acceptable and in line with others within the
development. Cllr D Crichton proposed to accept the application. Cllr A Berry seconded.
The Parish Council of Newlands, by a unanimous decision, raised NO OBJECTION to
this proposal. It was asked to remind Winchester City Council to ensure applications
are sent to the correct Parish Council in the future.
The meeting closed at 7.16 pm. The next meeting will be held on 20th May 2021.

None.
007/22P Correspondence: None. Cllr D Crichton wished to note that there is considerable delay in
planning applications, in particular the application for the nature reserve. NOTED.
